This operating system version is designed for high-end embedded security chipsets with contactless, dual interface and contact based interface and a on-chip "secret key" coprocessor. MTCOS Std. is fully compliant to all relevant ISO/IEC standards and supports a wide range of eID applications with secret key requirements. Applications supported: 
MTCOS ePassport
The world most popular operating system for ePassports. It supports 3 semiconductor architectures. Standard is restricted to BAC only. 
MTCOS eID (secret key)
ICAO features in combination with many more application possibilities. 
MTCOS eDriving Licence
Highest security for the new electronic drivers licence. Standard is restricted to BAP only. 
MTCOS ePayment
Powerful payment commands amend MTCOS ID applications. 
MTCOS Near field communication
Near field communication (NFC) is used to receive and share information, make fast and secure payments and even secure identification.
